About This Job

The DDI Sales Account Manager will have comprehensive, specialized technical knowledge of overall products and services (with an emphasis on Drill Bits) and general knowledge of these products and services. The successful Sales Account Manager will possess excellent communication skills and have a successful track record of building strong relationships. This Role will travel 50 to 75 % of the time.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Our Sales Account Manager will visit customers with our sales and engineering teams to deliver technical presentations. Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
  • Assists and train entry or junior level employees and may oversee activities of sales personnel.
  • Handle special projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience in B2B Sales (preferably within the industries we service)
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and negotiating skills
  • Passion for building strong relationships
  • Ability to coach others, be self motivated, work independently and remotely
  • 5+ years dill bit or drilling equipment sales or drilling experience would be beneficial
